Sectoral School of First Degree of Crafts and Entrepreneurship
at the Vocational Training Centre in Toruń
Our school is in line with the modern trend of vocational education promoted by the Ministry of Education - based on close cooperation between the school and employers and workplaces.
We do not educate the future unemployed!!
Each of our students is a juvenile worker, employed in a service establishment or workplace. They learn a profession in real labour market conditions and gain experience that they would not gain in school workshops.
Due to the wide range of education offered at our school, all classes are "multi-vocational" and therefore students gain knowledge in theoretical vocational subjects in the form of 4-week courses (once a school year). These courses are funded by the school - including boarding and board fees.
During the apprenticeship, the student receives payment.
We provide our students with the conditions to:
-Obtain additional professional qualifications in the form of courses organized by the Vocational Training Centre (e.g. welding, electrical qualifications, cash registers, backhoe loader operator, etc.).
-Activity in the Student Council and the "Artistic Group".
-Sports competition in various disciplines.
Studying at our school is an opportunity to gain an attractive profession that is in demand on the labour market free of charge. Here is a list of professions in which our school educates:
